Alpha Chiropractic

Physical Rehabilitation

Home exercises built for one patient, aimed at holding what the adjustment corrected in the office.

Chapter 01

Exercises built for one patient

Physical rehabilitation at Alpha Chiropractic means patient-specific home exercises, not a printed sheet handed to every patient who walks through the door.

Dr. Matt builds the set around what a particular spine and set of muscles actually need, based on what he finds during the visit.

The three jobs the exercises do

The home exercises are built to do three things: strengthen and correct posture abnormalities, stabilize the spine, and stretch muscles that have gone tight.

Those three jobs work together. A spine that is stabilized and supported by stronger, more balanced posture is less likely to fall back into the same pattern that caused the problem in the first place.

Chapter 03

Why the work continues at home

The adjustment happens in the office. Holding that correction is what the home exercise work is for.

A single visit can correct a joint, but the muscles and posture around it took time to get where they are. The exercises give that correction something to stand on between appointments.
